I am in the process of removing my last 2000 DC which is the sole DHCP server
of my network. I have tried to configure a DHCP server on my new 2003 DC but i have yet to be able to get an address from it. Is there something that i am missing in order to get the new one working so i can remove the old one. Yes i have deactivated the old scope so it would not send out any addresses, i then release renewed my adapter and got an error message saying it was unable to contact the dhcp server. Thanks.
