Default Outlook Problem

Hi guys and gees

Scenario is;

one main server computer with win server 2003 installed is serving
other computers as domain controller.

Internet is distributed via DSL modem, with ISA 2000 on server side
and ISA cliect on workstation side.

Email accout is configured on server machine on out lookexpress that
is being operated fine.

There is a problem during outlook configration on individual
workstations.

Dedicated outgoing and incoming mail server is web based , worked fine
as POP3 and SMTP on server machine.

Any guideline,to configure out look on individual work station, will
be highly appreciated.

Thanks

You mean you have a modem connected to the server, which routes (perhaps
using NAT) for the workstations?

What mail server? One that you run, on the local network?

Firstly, don't top post, it's annoying.

Secondly, still no idea what the problem is. Either ask a question or
just stop posting.

On the basis of what you have posted, you don't appear to have a
problem.

Simply point Outlook (or OE) at the mailserver(s) you want to collect
mail from.

You keep using Outlook and Outlook Express as interchangeable names,
they are 2 different programs.

If you have no mail server on the LAN use the mail server that the
mail is held at, or install a mail server. Still have no idea what
you're trying to do though.

So the mail server isn't on the server machine, it's elseware on the LAN?
Or is it accessed via the LAN out on the internet?
Do the client machines have access to the internet via the server gateway?
