Set it to modify the settings for your network interface, and let it find the largest MTU that doesn't fragment. Then set it to apply optimal settings, which will require a reboot. This automates the tedious mucking about in the registry. If you're on ADSL, it'll almost certainly recommend 1492 instead of your default 1500. Set this on all computers on your LAN, and set the router MTU to match, then report back. Ric ric |
