Hello,
I currently have Virgin.Net running from BT via a Netgear ADSL DG 834 modem/router (with 3 PCs connected) and NIC, and I am considering changing over to Virgin Media Broadband via Cable, they supply a Motorola modem with the install, but as I understand it I will need a cable router, as you cant use an ADSL router, is this correct? If so The router I plan to get would be the Netgear RP614,is this fairly straightforward to setup with the cable modem? Is it possible to run the two different systems on one PC, both ADSL and Cable? Not that I really want to, if the cable BB works out OK I'll ditch BT and the ADSL service anyway. Thanks Malcolm |
