Internet Connection

I have recently up-graded my internet explorer to Internet Explorer Seven. I
have Norton Protection center but when the personal firewall is turned on,
the internet wont load and says 'no internet connection available' or
something. it was working perfectally normal untill i installed the new
Internet Explorer 7. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem? any
replies would be greatly appreciated.

Does it connect correctly when you uninstall Norton?
