My exchange has been unbundled by Bulldog, I was thinking of signing up but
having read online reviews about Bulldog I have been somewhat put off. There seems to be loads of people with billing problems, Bulldog not taking payment and then cutting people off and such like. I know people who post reviews are usually unhappy customers so am I getting a biased opinion or are Bulldog as bad as the various online reviewers make out. Are there any happy Bulldog customer? A friend of mine has been on Bulldog for past 2 to 3 years (perhaps longer) at home, and only commented in the negative about two aspects - one was the transfer of the line from BT to Bulldog (it was in his wife's name on BT a/c and he was applying for the switchover), and a problem concerning voice calls for a short period. They are away on holiday right now, so cannot ask him if all is OK at present, but assume nothing terrible else he'd have mentioned plans to switch ISP before now. |

Did not install on time (or sometimes at all). 2. Bandwidth not delivered. 3. Repairs very slow. 4. Customer Service - what CS. 5. Overcharging and billing inaccuracy. after initial heavy telesales promotion Bulldog ceased promotion domestic market... For an equivalent mobile product try 3. |

Been with Bulldog since Jan 2003, and generally i'm happy with it. Was an ADSL2+ triallist and had a few issues technically, but they were sorted and now I get a constant 18Mbit/s download. Their CS is poor and it took months to get a working direct debit, but got a lot of service credits to make up for it, so a few moaning phone calls a month and then getting a month free was worth the pain. If you know how to fix issues on your side and you won't need any assistance, then they are fine. I never use the voice line, prefer BT for voice, they do that part well. Though I should be getting BT Total Broadband Option 3 soon, so will be interesting to see how I handle the drop in speed and decide whether I should bin Bulldog and save the £35 a month. |

Have you had your email yet? Most of my colleagues have, both the ones on pay direct & the ones who haven't got any service. Mind you if they wait a couple more months I'll have a lesser penalty payment for dumping my ISP.. |

Not yet. As I have a BT and Bulldog phone line at least I can try BT Broadband without any loss of service. Hopefully will get the email soon though! I'm fairly new though, so they've probably missed me! |
