Hi, I was wondering how I would be able to set up a entry-page for my
Wireless network. Like they have in Starbucks, where you must read the ToC and sign in, how would I go about doing that? Thanks RichBrown rabbro |

It's called a "splash page". The most popular incantation is called "NoCatSplash". It's commonly found in alternative firmware for Broadcom chipsets such as DD-WRT and OpenWRT. See: <http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php?title=NoCatSplash> However, if you want to have the user inscribe a login and password, you'll need an external RADIUS server and internal hotspot server: <http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Chillispot> Some other useful features: <http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Tutorials> Click [AGREE] to indicate that you have read my response and agree with me. -- Jeff Liebermann (E-Mail Removed) 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558 |
