Are they all in the same workgroup?
Are the drives/folders shared? Is the firewall turned off on the XP machine? With a single exception, the settings that it mentions don't exist in Windows XP. If you try that tip, don't be surprised that you can't follow it. There's no compatibility problem between ME and XP. All versions of Windows can network with each other. I've written a web page that should help you get everything working: Adding Windows XP to an Existing Network http://www.practicallynetworked.com/...g/xp/addxp.htm -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see. I'm sorry, but I don't answer questions addressed directly to me in E-mail or news groups.
