We were using Novell until just recently, and, had numerous Bindery printers
setup on the server. I've just finished setting all printers up on a Server 2003 print server, and would like to remove the old printers from each workstation, remove the Novell Client, remove IPX protocol, then install the ADS printers to each workstation. I have a batch file to remove the client and IPX protocol, but, am at a loss to understand how to remotely remove all the old Novell Bindery printers--don't know if I have to delete Registry entries, or what (the Novell newsgroups have been no help in this...for some reason). Anybody gone through this before, or know how to do this? As to installing the ADS printers, once the Novell Bindery printers are removed, I assume, since I'm using R2, that I can just assign the printers to geographic OU's, then put the computers in those OU's and, that will automatically install them on the appropriate workstations? Thanks! Bill Bradley |
