Using WinME on my laptop, the IP address does not renew.
THe laptop connects wirelessly thru a Dlink router. The router does not change the address when rebooting. I tried manually removing tcp/ip from the network config and still no change. I reinstalled the wireless adapter driver for the laptop and reset the router to factory default with no change. I also have 3 other desktop pcs connecting thru the router and the ip address for each are respectively 101, 102, 103. The laptop also is not able to get online, yet the desktops get online fine. Also the desktops are using winxp. What am I missing as far as t/s THX Brian |
