My windows 2003 DC has 2 interfaces , 192.168.0.2 and 192.168.1.2 the former
is used for external and later is used for internal network. Those 2 interface is used for ISA and also an internal dns server(192.168.1.2) . My client tried to ping FQDN to the server but it couldn;t find the host. It can only ping the server netbios name. In my client i have set the dns suffix of the domain and append parent suffix to it and point to the internal dns server. But it still couldn;t get FDQN reply. Pls advise thanks Daniel Daniel |

It is not recommended to install DC on a multihomed computer. If you do, you may need to re-configure the TCP/IP carefully. This search result may help,

Then I would check the DNS settings first. Any errors if using nslookup command?
