vpn trouble

im tryin to vpn to the office from home..
home computer= windows me
office server = windows 2000 server
was able to vpn with laptop that has xp
already downloaded the l2tp/ipsec adapter and still
nothing happens...it just seem to hang at the verifying
username and password box for 10 minutes...please
help..thanks
