I have connected a Windows ME machine to my XP domain and I can log on to
the domain successfully. I can also access XP Pro. shared resources if I open the START...Rum dialog and type: \\server. I have 2 problems though: 1. Even though the ME box can access XP recourses via RUN, I can't see any of the network via Network Neighborhood. I have run the Networking Wizard, but to no avail. 2. The XP boxes don't see the ME machine at all. Please remember, the ME box logs into the domain with no problem and, to some extent, it can see the XP boxes. Scott M. |

No it doesn't - unless you've previously attempted manually doing the
necessaries, and botched it. -- Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) Nil Carborundum Illegitemi http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's or http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp "S.S.I.N." <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:KTivc.650088$Ig.616804@pd7tw2no... > it has a few problems with msme as well. > > > "Noel Paton" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message > news:(E-Mail Removed)... > > ...and 98.... it has a few problems with win95 though<g> > > > > -- > > Noel Paton (MS-MVP 2002-2004, Win9x) > > > > Nil Carborundum Illegitemi > > http://www.btinternet.com/~winnoel/millsrpch.htm > > > > Please read http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm on how to post messages to NG's > > or > > http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/f.../Mar27pmvp.asp > > "Scott M." <s-(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message > > news:(E-Mail Removed)... > > > The XP Network Setup Wizard will run on ME? > > > > > > > > > "S.S.I.N." <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message > > > news:7TRsc.556223$Pk3.458713@pd7tw1no... > > > > > > > > "Scott M." > > > > > 1.
