I recently built a new pc which is to be the main pc in a shared set up of two pcs. Old (number 1 pc) is in another room and connected to the router as is New (number 1 pc). I don't seem to be able to override the old pc wanting to be the lead number one pc! How do I go about establishing the new pc as the main network pc? any deas- -my networking skills a pretty C"*^P. tia. Stuart SRT |

What's a 'lead PC'? My PC's are all just PC's on a network, they all just live side by side. -- Regards, Stuart. |

What do you mean by "lead number one pc"? In a normal network there's no such thing. What software are you running on the old PC? -- Bernard Peek back in search of cognoscenti |
