Recently I had a problem seeing my Access Point which I have been using
for ages. Neighbouring APs were showing up but my own device in the next room was not visible. I changed the channel from 11 trying 7 and 4 and settled on 4 which is now working fine. I was under the impression that channel conflicts could cause data transfer problems and therefore affect speed but I didn't think the device would not show up. Anyone else had similar. Sadly it looks like it's only going to get worse. -- Conor Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak......... |
