It may be that some spammer forged email with your address as the apparent source. The last spam I recall which didn't forge something in the headers was on Usenet, something about Green Cards. -- David G. Bell -- SF Fan, Filker, and Punslinger. On the horizon, a carrier task force of the Salvation Navy was turning into the wind, preparing to launch Zeppelins. |

Normal typed emails are ok, attaching a .jpg did not carry as risk I though! -- P~K It's only when you look at an ant through a magnifying glass on a sunny day that you realise how often they burst into flames. - Harry Hill [ entanet/UKFSN - Office Max 45 ] |

In the past, I recall Freeserve blocking (outgoing) mail if it had some attachment (probably only blocking .exe, but one solution was to ZIP it before attempting to send). Perhaps this blocking of incoming JPGs is to deal with the spammers who put info as a JPG to allow them to bypass many spam blocking apps... Perhaps Yahoo has 'whitelisted' some senders such as ebay.com/ svp.co.uk/ evesham.com/ etc... |
