I'm looking to aggregate multiple aDSL circuits. I'm looking at Cisco,
Watchguard, and a couple other brands. Is it possible with Windows server, to have multiple NIC's teamed in a load balancing configuration, acting as a router for an internal network? I know that I can do it with some advanced routing commands in Linux, but I was wondering if Windows Server gave me any options. Thanks Brandon Riffel bjriffel@hotmail.com |

Nic teaming is a hardware thing,..not a Windows thing.

Can anybody tell me a good way to load balance 4+ aDSL circuits. I've
looked at Cisco routers with multiple aDSL WICs, a product from the UK called a FireBrick, one from a company called Radware, and something from WatchGuard. Price really isn't a problem as we are trying to get rid of 6 overpriced T-1's and replace them with VERY cheap 6Mbit aDSL lines. Thank you, and yes I've googled and googled and googled already. Even then they were "home user" boxes and I don't even know what brand and model they were. The ADSL will never equal the T1s because of the slow upload speed. You need SDSL if you are to make things equal. -- Phillip Windell [MCP, MVP, CCNA] www.wandtv.com The views expressed are my own (as annoying as they are), and not those of my employer or anyone else associated with me. ----------------------------------------------------- |
