Default OT? GPRS Data Cards How to?




SMS to PC- how ? I assume the software for such a card would be able to send
/ receive texts???

(investigating a Text to Screen idea..)

They can indeed.

Any modern sonyericsson phone connected to floats mobile agent will pop
up sms messages on the screen.

A windows mobile smartphone connected to Outlook with Jeyo Mobile
Extender for outlook will show new messages received in a system tray
balloon, and also in an outlook folder.

If you want to get a datacard I have a Nokia D211 WLAN/GPRS card that
I'd be prepared to sell you. It's a bit old, and only does WEP and only
802.11b but it's had very little use.

Many thanks Jon for this info..

My lappy is already 802.11g equiped so i only need the GPRS bit, but
appreaciated all the same.
