VLANs - slow eth.XXX startup.

Hi all,

I have installed vlan package on ubuntu 6.10 (but on Sarge had the same
problem). Next I configured subinterfaces belonging to differebt VLANs.

The problem is that on system startup eth.XXX subinterfaces are starting
up dramaticaly slow. Of course 8021q module is loaded.

Please give some advice on this.
