I have a Netgear Router connected to a cable modem and my
WinMe system. My connection to the Internet works great, however work uses Checkpoint VPN SecurClient to authenticate it's users. I get the VPN-1 SecureClient Authentication window to popup and I'm authenticated, but then I receive a 'page not found' error message when it tries to connect to work. I have a laptop that if I forget to start the 'Checkpoint SecuRemote Service' and 'Checkpoint SecuRemote Watchdog' I receive the 'page not found' response. Is there something similar in WinMe? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks! Cathy |

By default it assigns a range of 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.51 with the default route of 192.168.0.1 and this will cause problems. So change it to for example 192.168.30.2 through 192.168.30.51 with the default route of 192.168.30.1 and it should work. It did for me! |
