I was getting 3 event IDs in my system log regarding DHCP (listed below). I
had migrated my DHCP database from an existing server that was just decommissioned to a new server I just put into production, and the DHCP server appeared to be functioning normally; the DHCP service was authorized, running, and making assignments, and all looked fine in the DHCP console. However, due to the event log errors, I decided to set up a clean DHCP database from scratch. I uninstalled DHCP and deleted the DHCP folder under \%systemroot%\system32\, then reinstalled DHCP and started over with what I thought was a new, clean database. However, I'm still getting the same 3 errors in my event logs. The server is a Domain Controller. Any ideas? I have no idea what's going on. Thanks in advance, Bryan ____________________ Event Type: Error Event Source: DhcpServer Event Category: None Event ID: 1014 Date: 11/16/2006 Time: 12:33:10 AM User: N/A Computer: MyDC Description: The following problem occurred with the Jet database -1032: Jet database read or write operations failed.
