Default DHCP scopes

For redundancy, can I setup and make active the same DHCP scope on 2
different servers?

Default Re: DHCP scopes

Hi!

This is possible (you would need to enable Conflict detection attempts
setting on both servers) but not reccomended. You should use 75:25 rule,
place 75 percent of your scopes addresses on the local server and 25 percent
as backup on a remote-segment server. If both servers are on the same subnet
feel free to "balance" the load on your DHCP servers with changed rule (for
example 50:50).
