I have installed a network where two computers connect to
a Microsoft Wireless Base Station. The XP computer is connected to the base station via an ethernet card and it connects to the other Me computer and the internet fine. The Me computer connects to the base station with a wireless PCI (Netgear) card. This computer connects to the XP computer and I can share files (very slowly though). However, I cannot get the Me computer to connect to the internet. At one point, I did have the Me computer hooked into the internet and everything was fine until I deleted the TCP/IP driver for the wireless adaptor. I reinstalled the TCP/IP driver but now the Me computer cannot connect. Me came with my computer so I cannot load TCP/IP from a CD. I have reinstalled TCP/IP several times now from Me itself to no avail. Does anyone have any advice on this? I assume it has something to do with my TCP/IP driver. Thanks Craig |
