I have a working network of 4 computers and 1 HP networked
printer. All networked printers can access and print to the printer. The network printer is associated to one of the computers and I would like it to be accessible when that computer is not running. If the name of the printer is: hp ljet4 net How do I associate this with Mshome instead of the computer? Here is how it looks now. Mshome | | hppav1 | | hp ljet4 net I'd like the configuration to look <something like>like: Mshome | | hp ljet4 net | | hppav1 Thanks for your help, Paul Paul |

You'll have to purchase a print server so that your printer can plug
directly into your hub/switch/router. It's actually quite simple. A print server isn't like a computer server.
It's just a little device like these: http://www.netgear.com/products/prin...intservers.asp Carey "Paul" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:07e401c3b8a3$1010c3a0$(E-Mail Removed)... > Thanks Carey.
