I want to network my Inspiron 8000 notebook running ME to
my new Inspiron 8500 running XP via a switching cable. However, my ME has no internal network adapter. Eventually all computers will be hooked up to dsl. Which adapter should I get for the Inspiron 8000 notebook running ME??? cj |

If the notebook has a PCMCIA slot, you can get a network adapter to go in it. If it has a USB port, you can get a USB network adapter. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
