Re: Explorer Hangs since last critical updates??

Just an update and possible workaround to access the internet on the ME
machine through an XP machine.

Bootup all PC's on network except the winme machine that hangs

Unplug the network cable from the ME machine

Boot up the me machine

open an explorer and an internet explorer window

connect the network cable

wait for the me machine to hang

kill explorer.exe (this sometimes takes a few attempts)

you should now have access to the internet through your internet explorer
window

Daft it is, but it works
