ok asked this before but asking differently this time

if I do the following
dfsroot being a standalone dfs root
net use g: \\dfsroot\xx\yy
start etherreal capture
then do dir g:
then do dir \\dfsroot\xx\yy
stop etherreal capture

should the capture look identical for both of the above actions? we have a
reliability issue with the dir \\dfsroot\xx\yy it works 90% of the time! the
mapped drive works everytime!
