I have been using a wrt54gs router with no problems for serverla years
it was a version 1.1. It crocked last night so went out and picked up a new version 6.0 wrt54g everthing simply unplugged from the old plugged into the new router. I prefer using static IPs on the 4 computers on my home LAN. On the older wrt54 I just had to go to the Advanced Routing and add the info click on save and was done. I try that on the new router and when I click to save I get this message "May be default route already exists" I am now lost.. I can not figure out what the erro message is telling me and can not set staic IP addresses. Any ideas? What am I doing wrong as I say nothign was changed and the router does work and uses the staic IP as set in each computer but I would like ot set this up as the old router was thanks Dan |

Sounds like it's reading your old router info, doesn't it? bj bj |
