WinME saving user name

I've recently networked my WinME machine. My problem is
that when I am prompted to login at startup the user name
is always "default". I would think that after a
successful logon with my user name it would have been
saved, but it hasn't. Can anyone give me some ideas to
try so that I don't have to type in my username
everytime. Thanks in advance.
