Default ICS WinME (host), WinXP (client)

I have a desktop using WinME and a laptop using WinXP. I
have setup a home network where the desktop (ME) is the
host using netgear MA101 wireless adapter and the laptop,
(XP) using netgear MA 401. I have connectivity as far as
file and printer sharing but I have been unable to get the
laptop to initiate a dialup to my ISP and connect to the
net. My dialup is phone modem. Dialup works independantly
in each pc but not remotely from the laptop (client). I've
gone thru the connection wizard a couple of times but no
luck. I'm using TCIP address of 192.168.0.1 for desktop
host and 192.168.0.2 for the laptop client. Both ping
successfully to each other. Any suggestions.Have gone thru
about every Knowledge Base article on MS and at
Practically networked.

Have you configured WinXP as an ICS host and WinME as an ICS client as
shown here?

Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing

XP ICS - Client Setup Using the Network Setup Wizard

On WinXP, make sure that the box for "Establish a dial-up connection
whenever a computer on my network attempts to access the Internet" is
checked in the dial-up connection's Properties | Advanced.
