Hi,
I have a Server A and B, running under windows 2000 active directory domain. I am domain admin who have all the admin rigfhts and log in to A. using my domain account. I can not access server B remotely while logged in A (can ping no problem) I can access server B from any other PC or server remotely. But not from server A. I went to server B, logged in to domain, can access server A remotley It is as if server B is only denying server A anyone have idea? MC MC |

When I try mapping from server A, to a share in B, I get error
"The mapped network drive can not be created... Logon Failure: Target account name is incorrect" Mapping to same share from other computers are fine. Both servers are in same domain, everything in the domain works fine except server B doesn't seem to like server A ;-)) MC "MC" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:esFWM3#(E-Mail Removed)... > Hi, > > I have a Server A and B, running under windows 2000 active directory domain. > I am domain admin who have all the admin rigfhts and log in to A. using my > domain account. > I can not access server B remotely while logged in A (can ping no problem) > I can access server B from any other PC or server remotely. Next day, I came back and noticed that Server B no longer prevents server A
from being remotly managed. Still don't understand why this happened Thanks MC "MC" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:esFWM3#(E-Mail Removed)...
