I have a Windows NT 4.0 SP6a server and about 50 client PCs. Yesterday,
four of those PCs (including) mine lost their connectivity to the server. These PCs were able to access the Internet and I could ping the server, but network resources were unavailable. To fix the problem, I gave two of the PCs new IP addresses and the other two seemed to fix themselves. Did something go wrong on the server? Why would some PCs lose their connections while others didn't? Thanks, John AnytimeAnywhere |

I would check the WINS settings first.
