Default Urgent Require

Dear All,

I am in My network Have 200 Users & I need to give them this settings on the
IP- Address :-

IP: 192.168.1.8
SM: 255.255.255.0
GW: 90.0.0.1-metric ( Automatic )
DNS: 192.168.1.1

But i want to Add 2 IP Address on the Network Card which will optain the IP
Address from THE DHCP , and i want to add also 2 Gateway, but one Gateway
will be its matric as default & the Other one will be ( metric 2 ) .

so my questions, how can i configure the DHCP to Broad cast 2 IP-Address & 2
Gateway from one scope ?

Please some one help me how can i do that ?

I don't think you can even manually add a second IP to an adapter configured
to obtain an address automatically. Also, how will 192.168.1.8 use a
default gateway of 90.0.0.1?

Yes, you can manually add multiple IP addresses to an adapter, PROVIDED you
select to statically configure it. If you select "Obtain an IP address
automatically", the extra IP address options are not available.

As Doug has already pointed out, you can't do this with DHCP. You can bind
multiple IP addresses to a single network card IF they are static addresses.

Depending on what exactly you are trying to do, possibly you might be able
to use a virtual network adapter like the one that comes with the OpenVPN
package - http://openvpn.net/index.html

Incidentally, posting the same request over and over and over and over again
a few minutes apart each time won't suddenly make it come true or get your
question answered faster. If your question really is *that* urgent then you
should raise a support call with Microsoft Product Support Services.

I'm always surprised at "professionals" who STILL have to be asked "Have you
checked (event viewer / syslog)".

What I have been trying to tell you is that you cannot do it with DHCP. You
could use netsh:

In news:(E-Mail Removed),

I think it's a matter of him using a web-based method to access to these
groups. I've seen him posting like this in the past in the DNS and AD
groups. The web-based solution is difficult to follow. I made a suggestion
to him in one of these threads (there are so many of them posted), to use
Outlook Express to keep track of his posts and watch the thread. I hope he
takes the ball and run with it.

Instead of the website you're using, I suggest to use OEx (Outlook Express
or any other newsreader), and configure a news account, pointing to
news.microsoft.com. This is a direct link to the Microsoft Public
Newsgroups. It is FREE and requires NO ISP's Usenet account. OEx allows you
to easily find, track threads, cross-post, sort by date, poster's name,
watched threads or subject.

Not sure how? It's easy:
