Frequently, access to the Remote Desktop becomes unavailable. It has never
dropped the session once it is established. Rebooting the server (2003) re-establishes accessibility. Error message: ...remote connections might not be enabled...network problems... No other access issues. Any ideas? Thanks. scottie44 |

I just ran into this two days ago. Is the server running SP1? Install the
Remote Desktop client from the ~\system32\tsclient directory on the server itself - it's a version problem. You'll wind up with 2 copies of the mstsc.exe file on your workstation - be sure to use the one that has a Security tab when you click on "Options". HTH -- Laura E.
