Hello,
Because of some kind of reorg, our server infrastructure is moving to another physical location. They stay in the same network, there is no change of IP, name or domain, I'm speaking about a strictly geographical change. Of course the network infrastructure as been duplicated to the new location. The network is common to the 2 locations for the duration of the move. However, as soon as a server is moved, it gets the Event 5719 whenever it's rebooted. Event is : ################# No Windows NT or Windows 2000 Domain Controller is available for domain <our domain>. The following error occurred: There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request. ################# All servers get the event, whichever domain they belong to (NT40 or AD domain). I can't figure out what this is. I've seen KB202840, but it doesn't seem to resolve the issue. Everything is working fine though, despite this event that appears after all reboots, except for an issue with the SMS remote Control, and I'm starting to suspect something is wrong with the network on that new side. I know this isn't simple, but if there is something that I've missed or a method to troubleshoot those kind of errors, I'd be glad to hear it. Many thanks and a Happy New Year to you all ! Vinnie |

it could be the DNS issue. Any errors if using nslookup command?
