I have 2 computers connected using a crossed cable, everything goes fine (the other pc is using win xp), but when I start copying files (or any other related activity - playing musinc from that pc for example), my win me computer locks up (but the other one remains active). Sometimes I use that 'map network drive' feature but it's the same problem. I've also noticed that my system resources start dropping from 96% to 14%, 10% and then it just locks up. I should say that I didn't have this problem while using Win98SE (by the way, I made a clean WinMe install). The WinMe system specs: k6-2 300mhz, 160mb ram, and 4gb drive (1gb used). The WinXP system specs: p4 2.4ghz, 256mb ram, 30gb hdd. I hope this issue can be fixed, Thanks. |
