This is what happened: My wife and I has our own computer, which we would use on the same Internet connection alternately. From time to time I would try to network the two computers, but fail. Whenever I try to do networking and fail, access to the Internet (I would logon but I can't view web sites) through my computer fails. I would do system restore, to a previous time and get going. On Friday I tried networking again and failed, but this time there was no restore point before that operation was performed so I am having problems viewing web pages. (Internet Explorer and Netscape) I tried all the troubleshooting advises from help and failed. Any assistance? I am running: Microsoft Windows Me 4.90.3000 Emachines....etower40012/466i GenuineIntel Intel® CeleronT Processor 160.0MB RAM |
