I'm having problem with my internet connection. I have
Windows ME on my computer. I used to be able to connect
to the internet, but one day it just stopped working. I
don't have TCP/IP >Dial Up adapter listed when I right
click on Network Neighborhood and select properties. I do
have "TCP/IP > nothing" entry. When I try to add TCP/IP
>Dial Up adapter, it shows up, but after restarting my

computer, it disappears and instead I have an entry that
says -- TCP/IP > nothing. I've re-added TCP/IP >Dial Up
adapter multiple times, but every time it disappeared.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix it? Thanks.

If there's only one network adapter, it doesn't show the binding:

Dial-Up Adapter
TCP/IP

If there's more than one network adapter, it shows each binding:

Dial-Up Adapter
Ethernet Adapter
TCP/IP->Dial-Up Adapter
TCP/IP->Ethernet Adapter

If you don't have an Ethernet adapter, connecting through dial-up
should work.

If it doesn't, try un-installing and re-installing Dial-Up Networking.
