I will shortly be getting cable internet service, and I
need to network two computers so that I can share it. One has XP, the other has ME. The ME computer did not have an ethernet card, so I installed one. The thing installed perfectly, drivers and all, but now Windows is issuing "Explorer has caused error in KERNEL32.DLL" soon after booting up (as well as JSCRIPT.DLL). Additionally, a box pops up saying something like "Support Tuner has found a problem with the network." I removed the card from the computer and uninstalled it in Device Manager and removed the drivers. The errors are still happening and the network logon screen is still appearing upon boot-up. This is really frustrating, can anyone give me some suggestions? At the least I want to get back to the normal functionality I had before this escapade occurred. Mark |
