Laptop standby prevention and network resource message

Hi,

I have WME running on desktop and laptop. Networked OK using Firewire
between the two. However, when I have the laptop off the network, it
will not go into standby or hibernate and I get a message that a
network resource or program using the network is preventing standby.

I have created another hardware profile in the laptop and suspended
any drivers that involve networking in this profile. ICS is also
disabled.

Still unable to get laptop to go into standby - which is useful
feature on a laptop!!

Grateful for any suggestions.
