IE and Explorer crashes on Thinkpad

I am having a continuing problem using Me on a Thinkpad I 1300 with
the following PCMCIA card installed Linksys PC 200. If the card is in
the slot Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer seem to conflict and
crash. I can start using Internet Explorer and by closing Explorer by
using Ctl+Alt+Del and then IE works fine. Conversly with the card
removed Windows Explorer works fine. Outlook and Outlook Express work
fine all the time for email etc. There seems to be a conflict between
the 2 programs anyone have any ideas. This all started when i went
from IE 5.5 to IE 6. Thanks.
