Hi people,
what problems can occur if I set up my Windows 2000 DHCP Server, the "Lease duration for DHCP clients" option for "Unlimited"? Thanks! Fabio Martins |

Hi!
I am axperiencing the same problem... well, it's not THE SAME. The one I am experiencing is: When IP Address expiration occurs, the DHCP server gives this IP to another PC, and when the old PC that had this IP address is turned on, a conflict occurs and it does not release the address and change it's submas mask to any other than class B that is the one we use. It only occurs with windows 98 and 95. I am trying to solve this problem seting "Lease duration for DHCP clients" option for "Unlimited", so it never will give the address to other PC.
