Thanks in advance for your help. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this
problem with Remote Desktop? The environment consists of a Win 2003 server, and mix of about 20 PCs using WinXP, Win98 and even a Win 95 machine or two (!). One particular Win98 machine has developed a problem where Remote Desktop Connection won't connect; gives error message of 'timed-out'. Low-level connectivity is fine, as indicated by pings, and even other means. The PC doesn't show sign of any other problem, and doesn't have any 'unusual' aspects (app's or hw config). I've tried removing licensing key from registry, as per knowledgebase article, but no joy. Any other ideas? Thanks Again! Pete =?Utf-8?B?RWdneQ==?= |

PS - I forgot to mention: This config worked fine for a time, then quit
suddenly & unexpectedly. The user claims no knowledge of change to the system. "Eggy" wrote: > Thanks in advance for your help. Any ideas on how to troubleshoot this > problem with Remote Desktop?
