How do i access Adsl MODEL using 192.168.1.1 from LAN

Default How do i access Adsl MODEL using 192.168.1.1 from LAN



hello eveyone....well i m having a problem in accessing the ADSL modem
on lan using 192.168.1.1, i can access the ADSL modem at home having
only single pc...but at college i try to access the same modem....but i
m unable....firstly the http://192.168.1.1 shows number of options
opening a search engine website as:

http://192.168.1.1:4040
http://192.168.1.1:3465
etc etc


kindly show me the way to do it correctly

remote administration would have to be enabled on the router (if it has it)
, and you would need to use the external IP address (not the 192.168.1.X)

How exactly do you access an ADSL modem? What does the accessing of the
modem allow you to do?

The PC u r tryint to access ur modem must to be in the sabe logic network of
the modem.
Look for the proxy settings of ur browser. U must not use proxy to configure
ur modem.
