Windows 98 doesn't support stopping the service. You'd probably have to
block all messages except those from folks on your contact list or uninstall
Windows Messenger.

Hi,
I meant ti stop popups from the Messener service which is different from
the MS Messenger.

I know I can not stop it because there are no services under windows 98. I
mean messages sent via NET SEND.
