linksys/yahoo messenger file transfer

I own a Linksys WRT54Gx wireless router. I'm trying to get yahoo messsenger
file transfer to work directly as does icq. If someone out there has had
any success with this could you please post how you accomplished this take.

I'm looking for port triggers, ports forwarded along with the yahoo
settings. I tried port 80 as a trigger and 5000-5010 forwarded. This does
work but not p2p, it goes through yahoos web site first to store the file

My qquestion is if icq can do it why can't yahoo. TIA
