i'm working on a linksys wrt54g router (firmware v. 2.04.4). the http and
smtp ports work fine but the pop3 port doesn't pick up mail. bypassing the router causes the problem to go away. i could update the firmware but the last linksys i tried that on caused a problem which broke the vpn port forwarding. i've disabled the firewall without helping. thanks for any help. -- Gary Roach ADB Services Gary Roach |

IE instead of mail.mailserve.net set it to xx.xx.xx.xx or whatever the IP happens to be (you can discover it or your ISP should be able to help. I have encountered this a few times with the Linsys and a local Cable ISP. Wheats |
