Compusa broadband router and edonkey

Iv got a compusa cable/dsl router which seems to work fine. The problem
is that when i use edonkey I get a firewall staus message of "unclear"
instead of reachable. I have tried setting up virtual servers and twoway
applications wiht no deceranble change. Has anybody sucessfuly used one
of these with emule or edonkey?
