Hello,
I'm looking for someone to help get me out of a tight bind. My home network
has grown over my head and I need some new hardware. I upgraded to a more
reliable router (Netgear RT314), but I am in desperate need of a good
switch. I need 8-16 ports, and the biggest part is that it HAS to be able to
handle a huge load. This is where all the other switches I have bought have
failed. They can't handle the load. My budget is also pretty small, at about
$50-60, so I need a great switch for a good price. If anyone knows of such a
product, please let me know.

Thanks!,
Robert

I don't know what you mean by "huge load", but I've been using
Netgear FS108 for a few years and never noticed any bottlenecks.
That's 8-port switches that used to cost around 100 euro, but they
are no longer produced and they have dropped to some 45 euro or so.
