I just purchased a Linksys Notebook Adapter for my at home
wireless network. I am working with Win98 1st edition on a Dell Inspiron 5000 Laptop. My issue is I do not have my original Windows 98 disk and when loading it asks for this. I called Linksys and they told me I needed .cab files, which I could not find on my Dell Laptop. Is there a download for these files that will allow me to install my new wireless network card? If not, how do I go about obtaining a Win98 Disk? Thanks for your help. RP Wagner |

There's no legal download of Win98 as far as I know, and Microsoft doesn't sell it anymore either. Some stores still carry it, but most don't. Ask Linksys which files you need specifically. A lot of the individual files can be downloaded off the 'net (be careful while doing this, however). RP Wagner wrote: > I just purchased a Linksys Notebook Adapter for my at home > wireless network.
